I like it a lot! Very readable and, I might add, cute. WP is much better anyway. You may have inspired me to put a new face on my site as well.

Marc, thanks! I hope all is well out there in sunny CA. Things are turning very ugly here on the east coast. Keep me posted on your adventures ... BTW, what is your URL? Take care and keep up the great work!

Looking good, Cole! I've been toying around with a new theme myself. must be something in the air... This is a really nice theme, too!

Chris

The overhaul is a very nice visual improvement over the old blog. Things just seem to "pop" more. Nicely done!

Hey Cole... Yeah, LA is great. The weather is a nice distraction from the less attractive elements of 1L life. My site is marcfriedenberg.com. I was working hard on it last night, pretty much lifting your use of the theme and Spam Karma. I'm also trying to keep up that nice, professional image :-)

Like the theme - off the shelf, or did you mod this? How brave do we need to be at this point to move into fixed width greater than 800pxls tho? (the workstations at our school's library are still 800x600pxls - perhaps we are the only folks still stuck with bronze-age monitors?)

Cole Camplese

Will, it is mostly off the shelf ... a couple of changes, but I am trying to keep it "stock." Jeez, 800 pixels as a standard is something I have not thought about. It is good that you bring it up ... I think a lot of us have forgotten those rules (restrictions) and moved to whatever design we like. If this space doesn't degrade to those environments (and if those environments care to read) I will change. Now that you mention it, I bet there are lots of people still in that space ... how do we help move that forward? Should we be designing to a certain spec these days? I live in a strange educational world and want to know the realities of the edu space.
