Steve

Interesting. I remember some conversations going back a couple years now as certain folks, interested in transparency and openness, struggled with whether to pull down, or "privatize," personal photos.

This post has really piqued my interest, and is driving me to a few questions (perhaps "research" questions?) centered around maturity, accountability and responsibility.

Are we seeing a maturation of this "industry" (or what so many call a "space")?
Does maturity bring with it an increased sense of being "responsible" with how we use our tools?
Does acting responsibly include enforcing social mores even when we aren't the creators of the content?
Should accountability be something we exercise, and accept?
At what point does the community congeal to "enforce" accountability, and on whom?

Thanks for the post, Cole.
